As a real estate developer and artist, Gary Silverberg is driven by the idea of constantly finding ways to improve how we live. Whether it’s taking a community on the cusp of change and breathing new life into it, or finding ways of making improvements in our lived experience to seamlessly blend retail and living spaces into a new form of live / work space.
With more than 40 years of experience across all real estate sectors, including commercial and retail, Gary approaches every project the same way – by thinking about how people interact with their environment, including private and shared spaces, and the wider community. This sense of connection is at the core of all his projects.
Art Condos – a first-of-its-kind live / work space designed by Gary to cater to the authentic nature of Toronto’s Queen West community – was dubbed one of five top condos in Toronto by the Globe and Mail. The building is exemplary of being aesthetically pleasing, functional, and easily understood from a human scale.
